Korea Investment & Securities posts 9.6 billion won Q1 operating profit, up 85 percent
Korea Investment & Securities said its first-quarter operating profit rose 85.0 percent from a year earlier to 9.6 billion won, while net profit climbed 75.1 percent to 7.8 billion won. The brokerage attributed the gains to broad-based growth across its main businesses, including brokerage, wealth management, investment banking and trading. It also expanded AI-based functions in its mobile trading system and strengthened partnerships with global financial firms.

Korea Investment Securities launches fourth IMA product worth 300 billion won
Korea Investment Securities said it has launched its fourth integrated managed account (IMA) product and will take subscriptions from March 16 to March 24. The new product, Korea Investment IMA S4, is a two-year closed-end structure with a minimum subscription of 1 million won. Returns are determined at maturity based on performance and asset value. The offering targets 300 billion won and invests mainly in domestic acquisition finance and corporate loans.

Korea Investment Securities launches second IMA product worth 1 trillion won
Korea Investment Securities said on Tuesday it will launch its second integrated managed account (IMA) product and accept subscriptions from Jan. 16 to Jan. 21. The IMA pools client deposits and invests in corporate finance assets, returning performance-based gains while carrying an obligation to pay principal. The new product, Korea Investment IMA S2, is a closed-end structure with a 2-year, 3-month maturity and a minimum subscription of 1 million won. The offering size is about 1 trillion won.
