KB Kookmin Bank selected as Seoul Metro main banking partner for third straight time

KB Kookmin Bank was selected for a third consecutive time as the preferred bidder to serve as Seoul Metro’s main banking partner. If it signs a final contract, it will handle Seoul Metro’s funding and payment operations from 2027 to 2030. The bank has managed those tasks since 2020. It plans to provide operating fund management, an integrated cash management system and digital financial services.

KB Kookmin Bank signs primary banking deal with Korea Heritage Service affiliate

KB Kookmin Bank will provide tailored financial services to the Korea Heritage Agency’s affiliate, the National Heritage Promotion Agency. The bank said it signed a primary banking agreement with the agency on June 18. Under the deal, KB Kookmin Bank will support operating fund management and build an integrated cash management system over the next five years. It will also offer employee-only unsecured loan products. The two sides also plan cooperation projects for heritage preservation and globalisation.
