South Korea to solicit private cloud firms to secure and run GPUs for \'AI highway\'
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Wednesday it will solicit private cloud service providers to secure, build and operate advanced GPUs as part of an “AI highway” infrastructure push. The bid is open to operators able to provide and run cloud-based GPU services domestically until 3 p.m. on April 13. The government will assess performance targets, clustering plans, government resource share, and security and stability.
