MOTIE to pre-publish bill to ease tenant restrictions for industrial complexes
South Korea\'s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy plans to ease tenant restrictions for industrial complexes and knowledge industry centers. It pre-published proposed amendments to relevant enforcement decrees, rules and management guidelines to rationalise location regulations. The changes would allow more sectors, expand the scope of knowledge and ICT industries and increase the number of advanced industries. The plan also broadens permitted ancillary facilities and clarifies rules for cafes, convenience stores and officetels.
