Woori Bank builds AI-based internal controls and safety management system
Woori Bank said on Feb. 12 it has built the financial industry’s first AI-based internal controls and safety management system and will apply it in stages to all branches from March. The system combines centralised IP CCTV with AI video analysis for real-time monitoring and faster incident response. It supports detecting anomalies during major transactions, extracting and storing cash-counting results, and checking two-person entry rules for vaults and machine rooms.
