Ecopro posts Q1 operating profit of 60.2 billion won, up 4,280 percent
Ecopro said on Tuesday its first-quarter operating profit rose 4,280 percent from a year earlier to 60.2 billion won, while revenue increased 1.9 percent to 822.0 billion won. It cited the consolidation of Indonesia-based GEN smelter results, higher metal prices and a recovery in downstream battery and semiconductor industries. It also reported higher quarter-on-quarter sales and operating profit and a return to net profit.

Ecopro to pursue battery lifecycle management and renewable energy business
Ecopro is pursuing a new business to manage the full battery lifecycle and plans to expand into renewable energy based on advanced recycling technology. At its annual shareholders meeting on March 26 in Ochang, North Chungcheong Province, it presented three management goals: securing technology leadership, optimising its global value chain and improving efficiency. The company approved amendments to its articles to add renewable energy and passed key agenda items, including director appointments.

Ecopro posts 66.2 billion won Q4 operating profit, returning to profit
Ecopro said on Wednesday it recorded 733.6 billion won in revenue and 66.2 billion won in operating profit in the fourth quarter of 2025, with sales rising 13 percent from a year earlier and operating profit returning to the black. On a full-year consolidated basis, revenue came to 3.43 trillion won and operating profit to 233.2 billion won. The company cited gains from investments in Indonesian smelters and higher sales of nickel intermediates.
