SKT presents paper on AI inference model to find customers\' true preferences at global AI conference
SK Telecom said on April 28 it presented a paper at ICLR 2026 on an AI recommendation model designed to identify customers\' true preferences. The company said its proprietary Collision-Aware Preference Optimization technique filters out conflicting preferences in user behavior data. It defines long-term repeated patterns as consistent preferences and one-off clicks as superficial preferences, raising weights when they match and lowering them when they conflict.

KAIST develops AI system to diagnose time reasoning errors using database
KAIST said on Monday a research team led by professor Eui-jong Hwang developed a system that automatically evaluates and diagnoses large language models\' time reasoning, in joint research with Microsoft Research. The team introduced temporal database design theory to AI evaluation, enabling a database to automatically generate 13 types of complex time-based questions and automate the process from answer derivation to verification. It also introduced a metric to validate dates and periods, improving detection of temporal hallucinations by 21.7 percent on average.

Nota to attend Embedded World 2026, unveil references including Samsung Exynos 2600
AI lightweighting and optimization company Nota said on Monday it will participate in Embedded World 2026, to be held in Nuremberg, Germany, from March 10 to 12. It will showcase its NetsPresso optimization platform, spanning AI model lightweighting to industrial deployment. Nota said it has lightweighted more than 40 AI models and applied them to more than 100 devices. It will also show references including Samsung Electronics’ Exynos 2600 and demos running AI models in real time.
