Delos Data raises over $100 million, unveils network chip for AI inference
Delos Data, a startup developing hardware for AI inference clusters, has raised more than $100 million. The company also unveiled a network chip for AI inference clusters called the Delos Nonstop AI Data Interface. Investors included Matrix, Playground, Socratic Partners, Capricorn, Matter Venture Partners and IAG. Delos Data plans to use the funds to hire engineers and expand sales. It previously introduced the Delos Nonstop AI Server, which can be clustered and supports up to four third-party GPUs.

U.S. open-weight AI model startup Arsi AI tops $1 billion valuation
U.S. startup Arsi AI, which develops open-weight AI models, has raised Series B funding at a valuation of about $1 billion, SiliconANGLE reported on Sept. 17. The funding amount was not disclosed, but Fortune said the round was worth at least $150 million. Vista Equity Partners, Cambium Capital and Emergence Capital led the investment, with A10 Ventures, Hitachi, IAG, Microsoft M12, P7 and Wipro also participating.

Cardano rebound hinges on bitcoin breaking above $86,000, analysis says
Cardano is holding around a long-term support level near $0.25, but whether it turns higher depends on bitcoin breaking above its 55-week exponential moving average near $86,000, an analysis said. Market analyst Drini said Cardano and the broader altcoin market remain closely linked to bitcoin, though Cardano may react with a lag. The analysis also cited internal disputes in the Cardano ecosystem as a remaining variable.
