WBTC partners with Hyperlane to build Ethereum-Solana bridge
Tokenised bitcoin WBTC is partnering with open-source interoperability network Hyperlane to build a bridge connecting Ethereum and Solana, The Block reported on Feb. 12 local time. WBTC holders will be able to transfer WBTC between the two networks via the Hyperlane Nexus Bridge. WBTC said secure and reliable interoperability is essential as demand for bitcoin liquidity grows on high-performance networks, and it aims to expand WBTC to Solana to provide bitcoin-based liquidity.
