74 percent of office workers who use AI ask chatbots instead of teammates, raising collaboration concerns
A survey found that 74 percent of office workers who regularly use artificial intelligence now ask AI questions they previously directed to colleagues. Workplace conversations are also declining, with 48 percent reporting fewer spontaneous chats and 38 percent saying new hires have fewer chances to build relationships. While users reported greater comfort making decisions and working more independently, MyIQ said chatbots cannot provide the social context and internal knowledge that teammates offer.

UK Gen Z workers baffled by business jargon as communication barriers grow
A survey found Gen Z employees feel left out of workplace communication because they do not fully understand common idioms used at work. In a study by UK career-change support firm Careerminds, Gen Z workers understood an average of 5.3 out of 24 frequently used business terms. Across all ages, workers understood 7 terms on average, and 48.8 percent said they understood five or fewer.

Inflight WiFi satisfaction soars in a year as Starlink adoption shows results
Inflight WiFi satisfaction has risen sharply over the past year, emerging as a key factor in airline service competition. A 2026 travel survey by the American Customer Satisfaction Index showed inflight WiFi satisfaction at 79 out of 100, up from 66 a year earlier. Airlines’ adoption of next-generation satellite links, including SpaceX’s Starlink, has improved speed, stability and latency, affecting passenger reviews and corporate travel contracts.
