74 percent of office workers who use AI ask chatbots instead of teammates, raising collaboration concerns

A survey found that 74 percent of office workers who regularly use artificial intelligence now ask AI questions they previously directed to colleagues. Workplace conversations are also declining, with 48 percent reporting fewer spontaneous chats and 38 percent saying new hires have fewer chances to build relationships. While users reported greater comfort making decisions and working more independently, MyIQ said chatbots cannot provide the social context and internal knowledge that teammates offer.
