Korea Post to issue stamps marking 100 years since Hunmaengjeongeum release
Korea Post said on Monday it will issue 450,000 commemorative stamps on Nov. 4 to mark the 100th anniversary of the release of Hunmaengjeongeum, a Korean Braille system. Hunmaengjeongeum is a six-dot Korean Braille created by Songam Park Du-seong. The stamps depict Park’s portrait using dots, reflecting how dots form letters and served as a path to learning for people with visual impairments.
