NC changes name and sets out three strategies as shareholders criticise dividend and pay
NCSoft on March 26 changed its name to NC and reaffirmed three medium- to long-term growth strategies at its annual shareholders meeting. Shareholders pressed the company over a lower dividend, higher executive compensation and the possibility of disposing of treasury shares. All six agenda items were approved as proposed, including amendments to the articles of incorporation and plans related to treasury shares. Management outlined strategies spanning legacy IP, new global IP and mobile casual expansion, and addressed questions on user metrics and payment ratios.

NCSoft targets top end of 2026 revenue guidance at 2.5 trillion won
NCSoft says it aims to achieve the top end of its 2026 revenue guidance of 2.0 trillion to 2.5 trillion won, calling 2026 a year of full-scale high growth. Co-CEO Park Byung-moo says the plan rests on three pillars: expanding revenue from existing IP, global launches of new IP and a push into mobile casual backed by M&A and platform-building. The company also disclosed 2025 results, including revenue of 1.5069 trillion won.

NCSoft shakes up executive ranks, promotes key Aion 2 leaders
NCSoft on Jan. 29 promoted and reassigned key staff behind Aion 2 in its regular executive appointments, aiming to strengthen growth momentum after the game’s success. Baek Seung-wook, who led development, was promoted to vice president after about 2 years. Kim Nam-jun and So In-seop were elevated to executive director. Aion 2 has exceeded 100 billion won in cumulative sales through early this month.
