Upbit donates 16 bitcoin to Community Chest Hope 2026 sharing campaign
Dunamu, operator of digital asset exchange Upbit, donated 16 bitcoin, worth about 2.1 billion won, to the Community Chest of Korea’s Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign, it said on Tuesday. Dunamu said the donation is the first digital-asset contribution since the campaign began in 1999 and the first corporate sponsorship of 2026. The two sides signed an MOU in June to promote digital-asset donations and developed management manuals and training.
