Imagineus develops 3D XR content conversion service
As XR devices such as Apple’s Vision Pro, Samsung’s Galaxy XR and Meta’s Quest enter the market, a key constraint remains a shortage of content. Startup Imagineus launched HOLODEO, a service that uses AI to convert existing 2D video into 3D XR content with a button press. CEO Kim Jin-sung said high costs and barriers to producing 3D content hinder adoption and that automated conversion can help address the shortfall.
