Renewable energy platform company H Energy said on Wednesday it unveiled an artificial intelligence-based energy storage system (ESS) operations and management solution at the 2026 EnergyPlus Conference. The event, hosted by the Korea Electrical Manufacturers Association, discussed power system challenges tied to expanding renewables. Chief executive Ham Il-han said greater renewable adoption increases output volatility and grid burdens, and stressed the need to advance operations. He outlined AI-linked ESS using LLM-based forecasting and explainable AI, and said VPP returns could rise 20 to 40 percent.
