Naver steps up Japan restaurant search and booking, Tabelog click users up 5.8-fold in a year
Naver is expanding restaurant search and booking functions for Japan across its Place service and Naver Map as usage rises. The company said it provides information on about 750,000 restaurants in major Japanese cities through data integration with Tabelog. Users clicking the Tabelog booking button were up 482 percent as of August from a year earlier. Naver is also discussing additional integrations with local firms including Gurunavi.
