SAP invests in workflow automation tool n8n, to integrate into AI agent builder

Business software company SAP has invested in workflow automation platform n8n, Bloomberg News reported on May 13. The investment lifts n8n\'s valuation to about $5.2 billion, double its level at the time of an October investment last year. SAP also signed a multi-year contract to embed n8n tools into its AI agent builder, Joule Studio. n8n\'s CEO said the deal was a secondary transaction enabling some early investors to sell shares.

Gumloop raises $50 million to build natural-language AI agent creation platform

Gumloop, which has developed a platform that helps non-technical users create AI agents, has raised $50 million in funding, SiliconANGLE reported on March 13. The Series B round was led by Benchmark, with participation from Shopify Ventures and Y Combinator. The investment brings Gumloop\'s total funding to $70 million. The company’s platform lets users build agents via drag-and-drop, connectors and plugins, and offers tools to link multiple agents into automated workflows.
