South Korea to hold public hearing on Global AI Hub site selection on Oct. 14
South Korea will begin procedures to select a site for a planned Global AI Hub that the government aims to open in 2027. The Ministry of Science and ICT said a support team for the Global AI Hub Promotion Committee will hold a public hearing at 10 a.m. on Oct. 14 at the Government Sejong Convention Center. The event will explain site selection criteria, evaluation procedures and future schedules and include a Q&A session.

Bizplay introduces business trip management solution at AI government innovation conference
Bizplay, a Webcash affiliate, introduced an AI-based business trip management solution that supports planning, reservations and expense settlement for public institutions. The company said it showcased the \"bzp business trip management\" service at the 8th AI Government Innovation Conference held on Aug. 27 at the Government Sejong Convention Center. It said the tool recommends transport options and flags potentially improper claims, and could cut audit-related costs by about 40 percent.

Samsung SDS holds \'Industry Day\' to share AI-based digital administration innovation cases
Samsung SDS held a \'Samsung SDS Industry Day\' seminar on March 18 at the Government Sejong Convention Center for officials from administrative and public institutions, sharing public-sector AI transformation cases and strategies. The event drew about 250 IT officials. Speakers from the National Information Society Agency and Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education presented application cases, including use of a cross-government AI common platform and a generative AI collaboration solution.
