Crypto loses speculative appeal as AI and robotics absorb capital
Speculative capital is leaving the cryptocurrency market and shifting to AI and robotics, Cointelegraph reported on Jan. 28. It said last year’s weak altcoin market showed crypto is no longer the main destination for high-risk capital. Bitcoin fell about 12 percent over the past year, while the Global X Robotics & AI ETF rose 13 percent. It cited monetary policy uncertainty and regulation as factors weighing on crypto.
