AI-driven uncertainty spreads, expanding developers’ roles is key to change
Kim Hwan (김환), CTO of CJ Olive Young, said the key to adapting to uncertainty caused by AI is expanding developers’ roles beyond their specialties. Speaking at AWS Summit Seoul 2026, he said the retailer is hiring forward deployed engineers, setting up new teams and reshaping its organisation to speed decision-making. He said CJ Olive Young is building an AI-native development system on AWS and applying an AIDLC approach by combining AI with its SDLC.

Cafe24 forms 1,500 stores using D2C brand dropshipping, says ecosystem expanding
Cafe24 said on Wednesday its \"brand dropshipping\" service has been expanding its ecosystem since launch. Introduced in February, the service has secured more than 1,500 participating stores and more than 9,000 active supply products available for immediate shipment. Cafe24 said about 1,200 sellers and about 900 suppliers are participating, with about 500 stores serving both roles. It plans to enhance features, automate ordering and support global delivery.

Supermicro expands capability to support Nvidia\'s next-generation platforms
Supermicro Computer said on Wednesday it is working with Nvidia to expand manufacturing capacity and cooling technology for liquid-cooled AI infrastructure aimed at Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin and Rubin platforms. It said it will supply Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 and HGX Rubin NVL8 solutions the fastest. The company said its data centre building block solutions support air- and liquid-cooled systems, multiple CPU options, management software and rack-level integration, with global delivery and services.
