KGC Ginseng\'s Buyeo plant named \'green company\' for environmental management
KGC Ginseng said on Thursday its Buyeo plant was selected as a green company by the Geum River Basin Environmental Office. The green company programme is a certification system for companies and sites that practise sustainable environmental management based on cooperation between the government and businesses. KGC Ginseng said the plant will pursue phased investment of more than 3.6 billion won in environmental facilities and aim to improve key intensity indicators by 5 percent to 46 percent over the next three years.
