Smilegate renewed as self-rating operator, keeps status for 5 years
Smilegate said on March 3 it has been redesignated as a self-rating operator under a support programme for the indie ecosystem and creators, keeping the qualification for 5 years. It said it has operated the system stably since obtaining the status in 2023. The renewal extends the qualification from March 3 through March 2, 2031. The company plans to strengthen platform capabilities and continue support for developers and publishers.
