GNC cuts unshipped orders after introducing AI drones for inventory checks
GNC has sharply improved inventory accuracy and reduced unshipped orders caused by stockouts after introducing AI drones at its logistics warehouse, the report showed. The company operates four Corvus Robotics AI drones at its Whitestown, Indiana distribution center to manage reserve inventory in real time. The drones verify box counts and storage locations and helped shift full checks from quarterly to monthly. Staff now focus on investigating and correcting discrepancies.

LG Uplus strengthens AIDC power infrastructure with GNC Energy
LG Uplus is partnering with power generation equipment specialist GNC Energy to address delays in supplying power facilities, a key factor in building AI data centres. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding on June 24 in Seoul to strengthen cooperation on power infrastructure such as emergency generators used in AI data centres. They will work on supplying generators for the Paju AIDC and expand cooperation to broader power infrastructure, including standardisation.

Uber launches item return service on Uber Eats app, courier picks up from home
Uber has added a service to its Uber Eats app that lets customers return items they bought from home, TechCrunch reported on Thursday. Users can select an option in their order history to return an item with a courier, with fees based on travel time and distance. The service covers only eligible retail items bought on Uber Eats and follows each store’s return policy. Only items priced at $20 or more can be returned.
