Korea Fujitsu launches MasterControl Ax life sciences asset management platform
Korea Fujitsu said on Monday it will launch MasterControl Ax, a cloud-based asset management solution developed by MasterControl, in South Korea for the life sciences industry. The company said the system is a life sciences-focused CMMS designed to manage the full lifecycle of assets such as facilities, instruments and research and testing equipment. It aims to organise maintenance, calibration, work orders and service histories in one place.

Genesis weighs entry-level EV priced in 44 million won range
Genesis is reviewing ways to expand into the mass market with a more affordable electric vehicle, keeping open the possibility of an entry-level model. Genesis executives leading its European business are assessing demand. A candidate is a model based on Hyundai Motor’s small electric hatchback Ioniq 3, using existing EV architecture rather than a new platform. Genesis says it is focusing on long-term growth, while its electrification strategy also includes hybrids and range-extended EVs.

Genesis GV90 launch set for Sept. 9, luxury electric SUV to cost over 200 million won
Genesis has confirmed it will unveil its flagship electric SUV, the GV90, on Sept. 9, setting a specific date for the first time since last year’s delays due to unresolved technical issues. Development is aimed at a late-2026 launch. Hyundai is reported to have produced more than 250 mass-production vehicles at its Ulsan dedicated EV plant. Test vehicles have been spotted in the United States, Europe and South Korea.
