Smartphone not enough as AI boom fuels demand for creators\' filming gear
As the online video creator market grows, production is shifting from smartphones to dedicated cameras and accessories as AI tools speed up editing and planning. Futuresource Consulting forecasts global online video creators will rise to 267 million by 2030 from 246 million in 2025, based on a survey of more than 16,000 people in major countries. More creators are buying microphones, lenses, gimbals and action cameras, with many spending over $500.
