South Korea steps up AI shift in maritime and local administration to boost future tech cooperation
South Korea will strengthen inter-ministry cooperation to expand AI transition across the economy and industry, while overhauling the implementation framework for its seven SEED projects. The government plans to speed up AI adoption in maritime and fisheries and in local administration, and to build regional AI data centres. It will set up a public-private platform and prepare an execution plan this year for a full rollout next year.
