Hana Securities wins licence for general currency exchange business
Hana Securities said on Monday it has obtained approval from the Ministry of Finance and Economy to conduct general currency exchange business. The ministry previously revised foreign exchange transaction rules to allow securities firms meeting certain requirements to offer general exchange for purposes other than investment. Hana Securities said it secured the licence after building internal control systems and IT facilities in line with relevant regulations.
