Japan FSA raises concerns over crypto firms steering users to dealer model
Japan\'s Financial Services Agency has voiced concern that crypto firms may steer users toward the more profitable dealer model, and plans to examine whether trading screen layouts and guidance nudge customers into unfavorable choices. It said it discussed the issue with an industry body in July. The agency will continue talks based on firms\' legal duty to act fairly. It will also tighten face-to-face ID verification from April 2027 and urged compliance with FATF-related measures.
