Factify raises $73 million seed to develop document format to replace PDF
Factify raised $73 million in seed funding and is developing a document format intended to replace PDFs, SiliconANGLE reported on Jan. 28. The round was led by Valley Capital Partners and included John Giannandrea, Ken Moelis and Peter Brown. Factify is building document infrastructure in which files have their own IDs, access rules, version histories and intelligence for automatic updates. The company is targeting document-heavy regulated industries and plans to expand engineering and intelligence features.
