Toss partners with Daejeon police to support missing persons searches
Viva Republica, operator of Toss, is partnering with the Daejeon Metropolitan Police Agency to support public-interest cooperation aimed at protecting vulnerable people such as missing children, elderly people and patients with dementia, and preventing transnational crime. The two sides will use Toss\' face-recognition biometric authentication solution FacePass and its payment terminal Toss Front as channels to help locate missing people and encourage reporting. The project will start in Daejeon and be expanded based on results.
