Early Ethereum whale buys back 8,492 ETH at $2,794 after selling at $2,010

An early wallet that joined Ethereum\'s 2015 ICO bought back 8,492.8 ether using about $23.7 million in stablecoins after selling in March at about $2,010 per coin. The repurchase, executed via Cow Swap in four trades over about eight minutes, used DAI, USDS, USDC and USDT. The wallet also repaid roughly 809 wrapped-ether debt on Aave and withdrew about 8,876 ETH collateral, lifting total holdings to about 16,773 ETH.

Fidelity seeks to add staking to Ethereum spot ETF FETH

Asset manager Fidelity has filed documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to add staking to its Ethereum spot exchange-traded fund, FETH. The filing outlines a structure to generate staking rewards using the Ethereum held by the fund, with up to 100% eligible for staking excluding amounts needed for redemptions, costs and liquidity. Fidelity said 85% of rewards would go to FETH and 15% to staking fees, and it plans quarterly cash distributions without guaranteeing payments.

Ethereum spot ETFs beat bitcoin for second week, led by BlackRock\'s ETHA

Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds drew net inflows of $103.8 million last week, about three times the amount for bitcoin spot ETFs, which recorded $33.9 million, The Defiant reported. It was the second consecutive week ethereum spot ETFs outpaced bitcoin spot ETFs. The gap was driven mainly by BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), which took in $96.3 million, while iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) posted $95.5 million in net outflows.
