MSIT announces 2026 exemplary laboratory safety management certification programme
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Wednesday it had announced the implementation of the 2026 exemplary laboratory safety management certification programme and started accepting applications. The programme certifies science and technology laboratories with strong safety systems, activities and safety awareness. The ministry said participation has risen since its 2016 launch, with 285 labs at 94 institutions certified last year. It also expanded awards and support programmes this year.
