Doppler token launch platform expands to Solana, redesigned from scratch

Doppler, a token launch platform on Ethereum-based Layer 2 Base, is expanding to Solana, The Block reported on Wednesday. The move comes as EVM-based projects continue to look to expand into the SVM ecosystem. Doppler said its Solana version is native and rebuilt from scratch to reflect Solana’s architecture, constraints, programming model and economic structure. The Block data show Solana leads new token activity, with Base ranked second.

Doppler onchain token creation protocol raises $9 million seed round

Whetstone Research, which provides the onchain token creation and launch protocol Doppler, has raised a $9 million seed round, The Block reported on Jan. 28. Pantera Capital led the round, with Variant, Figment Capital and Coinbase Ventures also participating. Doppler became a new token launch platform on the Base network within 9 months of launch and plans to expand to other blockchains and asset classes, the report said.
