Qualcomm to unveil next-generation Snapdragon products for agentic AI

Qualcomm will unveil a large slate of next-generation Snapdragon products aimed at agentic AI at its Snapdragon Summit 2026 in Maui, Hawaii, running from Sept. 22 to 24. The company plans major announcements across mobile, personal AI and PCs. It has previewed updates to its Oryon CPU, Adreno GPU and Hexagon NPU, and said it will reveal a flagship mobile platform and PC strategy at the event.

Qualcomm says AI is new UI, steps up full-stack on-device AI push

Qualcomm said AI will become the new user interface as it expands its on-device AI strategy from smartphones into PCs. The company set out three requirements for on-device AI: fast response, privacy protection and power efficiency, and highlighted its Hexagon NPU. It also described a three-layer approach spanning SoC, operating system and apps, and said more than 100 NPU-optimised apps are available. Qualcomm also detailed its co-design partnership with Samsung and unveiled Korean retail and IT partners for its PC push.
