Cloudflare launches tool that keeps sites visible in search while blocking AI training
Cloudflare introduced an accountable operator designation system for AI crawling and released a feature called Disallow AI Training, it said on Sept. 18. The company said the move lets websites keep search exposure while refusing AI training. It designated Apple, Google and Microsoft as accountable operators. Cloudflare said mixed-use crawlers that handle both search and AI training account for 36.6 percent of its network crawler traffic.
