RLWRLD partners with three South Korean robotics, simulation firms on physical AI
Physical AI company RLWRLD said on Thursday it signed separate MOUs with three South Korean robotics and simulation startups - PhysicsSimLab, Space AI and NdotLight. RLWRLD plans to upgrade DexBench, an open-source benchmark being developed with Nvidia to assess whether robots can perform complex tasks using their hands in industrial settings. NdotLight will build simulation assets, PhysicsSimLab will create a digital twin environment, and Space AI will develop tracks for deformable or fragile objects.

AI to automate last mile of labor, Real World aims for human-level robot dexterity
Physical AI company Real World (RLWRLD) unveiled its in-house robotics foundation model, RLDX-1, and said it is accelerating efforts to expand in the South Korean market. At an event in Seoul, Chief Executive Ryu Jung-hee said even highly automated factories still rely on humans for 25 percent of work and that the company aims to automate such tasks with AI. The firm also outlined its data pipeline, synthetic data approach and hardware partnerships.

RLWRLD to work with Nvidia on next-generation humanoid robot AI industry standards
Physical AI company RLWRLD said on June 8 it will work with Nvidia to develop next-generation industry standards for humanoid robot AI. The partnership focuses on three areas: DexBench, a benchmark for evaluating dexterity performance; establishing data standards for precision manipulation training; and integration with the open Nvidia Isaac Lab and Isaac Lab-Arena frameworks. RLWRLD said the effort aims to create open standards broadly adoptable across the industry.
