Hecto Healthcare\'s Desimone ranks No. 1 in 2026 Brand of the Year awards probiotics category
Hecto Healthcare said on Wednesday its probiotics brand Desimone was selected as the top brand in the probiotics category at the 2026 Brand of the Year awards. The awards are hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee, with consumers choosing representative brands each year. About 770,000 people took part in category voting via online and telephone surveys this year. The company said products made with the Desimone Formula are backed by 469 international papers and are sold in 40 countries.

Hekto Healthcare to attend Vitafoods Asia, unveil new products in Thailand
Hekto Healthcare will take part in Vitafoods Asia 2026, a health functional foods exhibition, in Bangkok from Sept. 2 to 4, it said on Wednesday. The company will showcase key products from its probiotics brand Desimone and its baby and kids brand Kim Seok-jin LAB. It plans business meetings with local distributors and global buyers to promote its research-based probiotics and seek new export buyers and distribution partners.

Hecto Healthcare launches Desimone Balance Care women\'s health supplement
Hecto Healthcare launched Desimone Balance Care, a new product under its premium probiotic brand Desimone, on Sunday. The stick-type functional health supplement contains 100 billion CFU of Desimone lactic acid bacteria, 4,000 mg of German 100 percent non-GMO plant-based myo-inositol and 760 mg of prebiotics, and is peach-flavoured. Hecto Healthcare will run a Naver Smart Store promotion through Aug. 9.
