Bitcoin four-year cycle theory wavers, $65,000 level key
Bitcoin could face a major turning point in 2026 around $65,000, a level Fidelity Investments’ Jurrien Timmer has highlighted as a “survival line” based on power law analysis, Cointelegraph reported. The power law model estimates long-term fair value and has historically coincided with bottoms when prices test lower support. Timmer said Bitcoin is tracking an internet-style S-curve but diverging from the power law trajectory. If $65,000 fails, the next support could be $45,000. Debate continues over whether the four-year cycle theory is breaking down, while analyst David Ang expects longer cycles and lower volatility.
