LG Display steps up shift to OLED in premium monitor market
LG Display said on May 28 it was the first in the world to commercialise a 240Hz RGB stripe OLED panel and begin mass production. The company said the structure, which aligns RGB subpixels in a row, delivers clearer text and numbers and reduces eye strain in long-use work settings. The panel combines 160 PPI resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate and supports selectable modes including 4K at 240Hz and FHD at 480Hz.
