AI fake news sites surge tenfold, 1970s-era review regulation cannot stop them
A surge in generative AI content is creating a need to change the media review system, a forum at South Korea’s National Assembly heard. Kim Hee-kyung (김희경) said the quality of most news data and information content is no longer assured and that traditional review systems do not work in the AI era.
