Microsoft report warns of double-agent risks as AI agents spread
Microsoft released its AI security report, Cyber Pulse, and set out visibility, governance and zero-trust security principles to help companies deploy AI agents safely. The report said the spread of AI agents is creating new business risks through visibility gaps and that organisations leading in AI adoption will align business, IT and security teams. It warned deployments can outpace security and compliance controls, expanding shadow AI risks and creating “double agents”.
