Microsoft unveils Copilot Tasks as it evolves from chat app to action app
Microsoft has unveiled Copilot Tasks, an AI tool designed to plan and execute tasks in the background based on natural-language requests. It can automate recurring work such as preparing email reply drafts, searching rental listings and booking visits. It can also turn lesson plans into study schedules and organise emails and attachments into slides. Microsoft said it seeks user consent before important actions such as payments or sending messages.
