K-subculture new titles gather at Japan\'s TGS, eyes on following Blue Archive and Goddess of Victory: Nikke
South Korean game companies are showcasing upcoming subculture games at Tokyo Game Show 2026, aiming to test gameplay and character appeal with Japanese users and build early fandoms before official launches. Nexon Games, Netmarble, Smilegate and NC are presenting new titles including Pareidolia, Pearl in Blue, Future Sight: The Unseen Future and Astrae Oratio. Companies also outlined demos, promotional plans and development schedules, with NC targeting a 2027 release.

Smilegate to attend Tokyo Game Show with Miraesi and Dead Account
Smilegate said on Aug. 13 it will attend Tokyo Game Show 2026, to be held in September at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, and will exhibit two titles: “Miraesi: The Unseen Future” and “Dead Account: Two Blue Flames”. The show runs from Sept. 17 to 21. Smilegate also plans to recruit partner creators, run an X event for Dead Account, and open a dedicated TGS 2026 website.

Smilegate opens pre-registration page for new collectible RPG Miraesi
Smilegate has opened a pre-registration page for its new collectible role-playing game, Miraesi: The Unseen Future, as it steps up efforts to target the global subculture market. The company said the campaign was set up to mark its participation in Anime Expo 2026, North America\'s largest subculture festival. The title is being developed by Control9 and is planned for release on PC and mobile platforms. The release schedule has not been decided.
