Anthropic\'s new AI model \'Mythos\' is changing security priorities in the cryptocurrency industry, with attention moving beyond smart contract audits to wider infrastructure. The model is noted for linking minor weaknesses across systems into attack paths. The shift is expanding checks to key management, signing services, bridges, oracle networks and cryptography layers. The industry is also moving from pre-launch audits and post-launch monitoring to continuous audits, real-time simulation and breach-assumed design.

Developer tools company Vercel suffered a leak of some customer data after a breach that began at Context.ai, an external product, it said. Hackers compromised Context.ai and used it to log into a Vercel employee Google Workspace account, gaining access to some customers’ environment variables. Vercel said the exposed data did not have its sensitive-variable protection feature enabled. The leak included information on hundreds of employees and several API keys.
