Nums AI unveils tabular foundation model, tops global benchmark

Nums AI, a developer of tabular foundation models, said on Tuesday it has unveiled its in-house model Causilo. The company said Causilo ranked first in overall, classification and regression Elo evaluations in TabArena, a global benchmark for tabular data AI. It said the model outperformed TabFM from Google Research, Mitra-v2 from Amazon, Xiaomi-TabLDM and TabPFN-3 from Prior Labs. Nums AI said it has released Causilo’s code and pretrained weights, while applying a separate licence for commercial use.

Ncorea wins GS certification for AI data governance automation solution

Ncorea said on Tuesday its AI-based data governance automation solution META# AI (AIMetaXSuite V7.0) received a first-grade GS (Good Software) certification from the Telecommunications Technology Association of Korea. The company said the product analyses databases, business documents, source code and metadata to automate data standardisation and model updating, supporting improved data quality and management efficiency. It also provides functions such as automated standard dictionary building and metadata management system integration.

LG AI Research industrial-focused AI strategy gains traction, stands out on global benchmarks

LG AI Research said its in-house models EXAONE Tabular and EXAONE Forecast achieved best-in-class performance on global leaderboards. EXAONE Tabular ranked first overall for categorical data prediction on TabArena, scoring 1,760 ELO points, ahead of Google’s TabFM. EXAONE Forecast ranked first in the zero-shot category and second in agentic AI on Salesforce’s GIFT-Eval. The institute plans PoCs in manufacturing, bio-healthcare and finance.
