Mentat raises 1.1 billion won seed funding for lawyer AI legal drafting tool
Legal tech startup Mentat said on Monday it raised 1.1 billion won in seed funding. Collaborative Fund Asia led the round, with venture accelerator Crypton and financial technology firm HonestAI participating. Mentat offers an AI service that helps lawyers draft legal documents and plans an official launch as early as late May. It will provide an autonomous draft-writing mode and a co-pilot mode, and will first roll out usage-based subscriptions and enterprise plans.
