U.S. Senate banking panel CLARITY bill lifts bitcoin on hopes of clearer rules

ARK Invest buys crypto-linked stocks against market selloff
ARK Invest, led by Cathie Wood, boosted exposure to cryptocurrency-linked stocks despite a broader market decline. On Jan. 26, it bought additional shares in Coinbase, Circle and Bullish worth a combined $21.5 million, its first large purchase of those names since mid-December. Purchases were made through ARK Innovation ETF and ARK Fintech Innovation. Bitcoin fell about 6 percent last week to below $90,000, while related stocks also weakened.
