UK foreign secretary warns AI neglect could bring Hiroshima-scale disaster
Britain has urged a joint international response to manage artificial intelligence risks, warning that delaying regulation could repeat early policy failures seen in nuclear weapons development. Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper called for rapid agreement on shared global safety principles and standards, saying the world cannot afford to wait for an “AI Hiroshima”. She pointed to UK efforts to convene major AI powers and cited rising concern over AI-enabled cyberattacks.

Trend AI joins Anthropic\'s Project Glasswing
Trend AI, Trend Micro’s enterprise cybersecurity unit, said on Tuesday it will join Anthropic’s Project Glasswing, which makes its AI model Mythos available to selected companies for cybersecurity use. Trend AI said it will use Claude Mythos Preview to support software code review and analysis. It plans to help Korean customers integrate AI-based vulnerability intelligence into their risk management systems through its Vision One platform.

Anthropic\'s Claude Mythos public release seen as imminent, possible June 10 launch
Anthropic is expected to release a public version of its new AI model Claude Mythos on June 10 local time, a report said. The public version is expected to include substantial guardrails and have more limited cyber security functions than the version available to Project Glasswing partners. The outlet said Mythos has significantly improved its ability to handle complex, multi-step tasks over long periods.
