Jim Cramer says fears of AI-driven software collapse are overdone
Jim Cramer, a well-known financial broadcaster who hosts a stock investment programme on CNBC, said Wall Street concerns that AI will devastate the software industry are less severe in reality. He said AI could pressure profitability at some companies, but that a market-collapse scenario is overly pessimistic. Cramer said software firms can survive by adapting, including through mergers or using AI to cut costs. He added that stock prices could still fall.
