Decentralised prediction market Opinion raises $20 million
Blockchain-based prediction market platform Opinion has raised $20 million in a pre-Series A funding round. A CoinDesk report said investors included Hack VC, Jump Crypto, Primitive Ventures and Decasonic. Opinion says it differs from centralised exchanges such as Kalshi by settling markets in a decentralised way. The company says it accounts for one-third of global prediction-market trading volume and holds more than $130 million in open interest.
